Lithops is a unique and original succulent from the Aizaceae family, possessing unique decorative qualities. The plant is native to the sandy and rocky deserts of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia in the Southern and Southeastern parts of Africa.
Lithops pseudotubate Archery - leaves are thick, paired in twos, and the plant as a whole does not grow more than 5 cm in height. They have a color from gray to green with branched marble at the top. The flowers are yellow and no more than 4 cm in diameter.
In the period from August to October, buds begin to appear in the sections between the leaves. The flowers of the lithops are comparable in size to the size of the plant itself and look like daisies of white, yellow, orange or pink color. From one incision, from 1 to 3 flowers 2.5-5 cm in diameter with a faint pleasant aroma may appear.
