Lithops is a unique and original succulent from the Aizaceae family, possessing unique decorative qualities. The plant is native to the sandy and rocky deserts of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia in the Southern and Southeastern parts of Africa.
Olive lithops is a plant about 2 cm tall, with a rounded, dark olive-green to brown, matte-tinged surface; the gap is about 5 mm deep. The flowers are yellow, emerging from the gap. Some species are very similar to the surrounding rocks.
